I have ADD. I don't have to take medicine for it, and I have all A's in my classes. Please, don't mark everyone with ADD down with these stereotypes! (sorry for the randomness, I do not mean to offend)

I'm twenty seven years old, and I still have ADD. I haven't taken my aderol in over ten years, and I think I'm doing just fine. I found a penny today. I'd like to go see a movie. Have you seen War Horse? I love MLP. I eat paste. Who wants beef jerky? I'm eating Hot Pockets right now. I weigh 195 lbs. Did you know that President Taft once got stuck in his own bathtub? I don't trust politicians. My mommy watches too much Fox News. I almost joined the army once.

catergories I mean. You don't see what they are good at, what they can do etc.

just "can't pay attention" and "bad at homework"

look at the picture again or something, idk. Like it only has things that people with ADD aren't good at or can't do.

well, I'm not a psychologist so I don't know a lot about mental disorders, I just investigate a little and make art out of it.
You can always do research if you're interested in a topic, it doesn't matter if your school teaches you or not ;)

I might have ADD but I think i only have half the symptoms or something so I probably don't.

You don't have to have ALL of them. Maybe you can do some tests or talk to a professional so you can know if you have the disorder (and control it) or not (:
Look for help if your symptoms affect your daily life!!

haha they won't bite xD

If they do, you need some help (: maybe your parents... a tutor... someone, but of course, professionals know what they do ;)

I've tried implying to my parents I have a problem, but I don't think they get it, or they just ignore it cause they're worried or something. Never was good at talking at a heart to heart level with adults/my parents. Sorry I sound like I'm dodging advice btw...

Also why did you use that picture for the art, it doesn't really look like he's ADD or anything.

I didn't find any other that fit better xD and I thought it worked for what I wanted because the boy is supposed to be looking at the picture but he's distracted O.0

another symptom's not being to focus on one sound at a time. instead of blocking out background noise your mind jumps around and tries to keep track of it all. it's like going in TV store with all the TVs on, have high volume, and are on different channels. for people with ADD who get this, going to crowded places like cafeterias can be almost painful. getting "sensory overloads" isn't fun. this can also happens with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome. you get tired after flying because your brain's constantly trying to block out the sound of the engines. after a while it gets very tiring. for kids with ADD/ASD after a bad day it can feel like that. plus trying to focus in school. it can be tough to deal with.
this is great. a really fantastic collection. and, to my knowledge, very accurate. keep going, these can really help people understand mental illness. people understanding can be as big a factor in getting better as medications can be. thank you for making these. :thanks:

I relate to this so much.

The guy in the pic looks like Justin Beiber. No offense if it's you and you don't like him. ^^;

I'm fairly certain it's just his haircut, cause the other stock photos of him look nothing like Beiber.
